● Diagnostic Excellence: Provide accurate, reliable, and timely diagnostic services (Histopathology, Cytopathology, Haematology) to help clinicians optimize patient outcomes.

● Educational Leadership: Deliver high-caliber medical education to MBBS and MD students, fostering a foundational understanding of disease mechanisms.

● Research & Innovation: Foster an inquiry-driven environment to explore disease mechanisms and biomarkers, contributing to broader medical knowledge.

● Quality Assurance: Rigorously maintain a Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure laboratory operations meet stringent safety and accuracy standards.

Recent Updates (Last 1 Year: April 1, 2025 – March 31, 2026):
A guest lecture on “Role of Immunofluorescence in Dermatopathology” was delivered by Dr. Akshay Kishor Susvirkar. A unique case from the department was selected and presented at the 47th Annual Conference of the Maharashtra Chapter, 2026, held in February 2026. The department also organized blood donation camps on a regular basis throughout the year.
